The Freezone Mardi Gras Tournament is a high point in the Club’s annual calendar as part of Gay Christmas – Sydney’s Mardi Gras Festival.

Get involved now! We need assistance for all sorts of little jobs on the day, from scoring and keeping track of the teams on the ladder to joining in and playing at our premier international venue: the Indoor Sports Halls at Olympic Park Homebush.
Isn’t it time you came OUT and played?
Great tournament, we thought it had improved since the last time we entered.
The team feedback was pretty much all positive, great venue, good organisation, excellent value (well done for keeping entry fees so low) and most importantly everyone had fun.
The only (minor) improvement feedback would be to have the place and grade put onto the medals.
We look forwarding to supporting this tourno in the future.

Some of the guys were not too happy the semi finals had a time limit, but I know it’s hard to fit everything into just one day.
Otherwise it was all good.
Great venue, lunch was yum with a good variety of foods.

VENUE FOR PRESENTATION
This years Presentation will take place after the tournament at THE MIDNIGHT SHIFT on Oxford St.
The venue has been provided FREE OF CHARGE for our function from 7pm – 9pm with use of the stage from 8pm onwards for the presentation.
Please make your way down to ‘The Shift’ after the tournament for a prompt start at 7.30pm. If you are unsure of where to go, just grab a Freezoner – they ALL know where it is !
Medal presentation will occur at 8.00, so the old girls can head to the home paddock early for the evening with weary bones.
