Women’s Squad

Freezone is launching its new WOMENS SQUAD for 2019. With the success of our State Squad Program, Freezone will now move forward in the development of a Womens Squad for the development and coaching of a Women’s Div 1/ Div 2 team.

The Womens Squad will mirror the ideals and aims of the State Squad, developing players who want to play at a higher level and push their individual skills and playing in a supported team environment.

The Womens Squad will operate with a team of 9 players and full time coach to work together over 10 weeks from March to May and compete at the various State Cup tournaments of SVNSW.

The successful applicants will train together once a week under the Freezone Coaching staff and commit to 10 weeks of training and tournament play with a view to playing competitively at the Div 1 level.

Players will be asked to pay an additional cost for Season fees that will cover all tournament and training costs with uniforms and support from Freezone.

Trials will take place at Sydney Boys High School/UTS Gymnasium at 8:30pm 1st February (Friday) and 3:00pm 9th March (Saturday) . The season will be 10 weeks in length and will include 4 tournaments (subject to player availability).

Register your interest below and come along to take part in this new initiative for Freezone.
